Job Description Key Responsibilities Include: You will prepare, review and negotiate complex commercial contracts. You will solve unique and complex commercial, legal and client regulatory issues with impact on the business unit or function and through conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions. You will review business practices and policies and advise management of potential risks and mitigations. You will analyze various legal and business issues, discuss with subject matter experts, and advise business leaders. You will support and advise business development and sales teams in creating and selling new products and services. You will evaluate matters which may have a major bearing on the conduct of our organization's business. Qualifications: It is required that you are licensed to practice law in the U.S. and a member of the bar in good standing. A minimum of 4 years' experience as a corporate or transactional lawyer in a top tier law firm or part of that experience in a relevant in-house services practice. J.D. from a top tier law school Strong contract drafting and negotiation experience is required. Requires ability to anticipate internal and external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommend process, product or service improvements; solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business; contribute to the development of functional strategy; lead project teams to achieve milestones and objectives. Experience with data privacy and laws and regulations related to privacy a plus. Skilled at communicating, both verbally and in writing, with customers and at the senior leadership-level. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, and Outlook. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within strict deadlines and with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to participate as a member of a team, assisting in other projects as needed or as assigned.
