NOW HIRING: Concierge
- 4PM - 12AM
- Availability to work one day every weekend and have one day off during the week is essential.
Responsibilities of a Concierge:
- Develop rapport with residents through engaging conversation, actively listening to their stories, and providing emotional support.
- Assist residents with essential tasks such as running errands, arranging transportation to appointments, and coordinating participation in desired activities.
- Work alongside the care team to ensure residents receive optimal support. This includes keeping them informed of resident well-being changes, requests, and assisting with light tasks that promote resident independence.
- Create a positive and engaging environment for residents by organizing social activities, facilitating interaction, and promoting a sense of connection among residents.
Note: This role requires being on your feet for extended periods. We're looking for someone who is comfortable moving throughout the facility and directly engaging with residents.
Qualifications of a Concierge:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a concierge or hospitality role is preferred.
- Experience in a long-term care (LTC) facility highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
