A Bartender for THBB is a professional with high energy and excellent communication skills. They are well-versed in all different types of craft beer and are able to guide the guest in choosing the perfect craft beer for them. Bartenders are required to be Cicerone certified within their first 30 days to continue their employment in the position as a THBB Bartender. Success as a Bartender requires a neat appearance, an engaging, friendly personality. Bartenders are efficient, observant, knowledgeable and personable.

Bartender Responsibilities:

• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis. This includes requisitioning and stocking of all liquor, beer, wine, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce.

• Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting fruit for expected guest traffic for the day.

• Responsible for updating and maintaining beer lists and is aware of all beer / wine / alcohol promotions

• Ensure bar TV’s are on sports and be aware of that day's sport schedule.

• Service guests with the highest level of THBB service

• Service THBB Staff with their requested Guest orders

• Maintain a clean and efficient bar area throughout the shift

• Follow daily THBB cleaning schedule for AM/ PM

• Keep all menus updated and cleaned

• Have product knowledge of all draft beer, liquor, wine and craft beverages

• Follow all local and state regulations according to the health department

• Clean the bar nightly and take out all trash including linen.

• Any other tasks asked of you by the MOD

• Complete all side work assigned to you and check out with the closing Manager

Requirements:

• Cicerone certification

• Able to lift, carry, push and pull 30 pounds

• Able to lift and change a keg of beer

• Able to listen, understand, and respond professionally to guests requests

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
