Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes and gardens.
Duties:
- Install and maintain irrigation systems including pipes, valves, and sprinkler heads
- Inspect and troubleshoot irrigation systems for leaks, malfunctions, or other issues
- Program and adjust irrigation controllers for optimal watering schedules
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters and adjusting water pressure
- Collaborate with landscaping teams to ensure irrigation systems complement overall landscape design
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment to complete irrigation projects
Requirements:
- Experience in lawn care, landscaping, or irrigation system installation
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Mechanical knowledge for system troubleshooting and repairs
- Proficiency in digging and trenching techniques for system installation
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
