We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a wide variety of projects from conceptual design through implementation. This exciting role involves managing multi-family and single-family construction projects, ensuring they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. The Project Manager will be the key point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and the project team, ensuring all parties stay informed and the project meets the agreed-upon specifications.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee multi-family and single-family construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Review work progress on a daily basis, addressing any issues that arise promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure quality construction standards are met and adhere to all safety codes and legal requirements.
  • Prepare internal and external reports to provide updates on project progress.
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management in the construction industry, specifically with multi-family and single-family projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction safety practices and legal regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and MS Office suite.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
