The Beach Bear is Hiring a Bartender Near Hilton Head Island, SC

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in bartending and serving. Also experience with frozen drinks and using blenders. Rate is $7.25 to $10, PLUS TIPS

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve drinks to patrons according to standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check customers' identification and confirm legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash register
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting
- Proficiency in basic math for measuring ingredients and handling payments
- Familiarity with TOAST POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle various customer personalities
- Knowledge of retail math for pricing and calculating bills accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Experience with banquet or event bartending is advantageous
- Skilled in cash handling procedures
