Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Firmware / Embedded Software Engineer to collaborate with an established and high-performance development team by contributing to leading edge firmware and manageability solutions. 

This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid in Hillsboro, Oregon with onsite 3 -5 days weekly. 

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and qualifications:

• 7 plus years of firmware / embedded Linux development experience. 
• 3 plus years of manageability firmware experience.
• BMC Firmware development experience (Dell iDRAC, Dell CMC, HP iLO, etc.). 
• Working knowledge of Linux Kernel programming and Linux driver development experience (JTAG, I2C, SPI).
• Experience with Open-Source Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) Software Stack (OpenBMC)
• Proficient with BMC functionalities and out of band management interfaces/protocols such as PECI, Redfish, and IPMI. 
• Knowledge of low-level protocols including I2c, I3c, JTAG, SPI, eS. 
• Experience in x86 architecture. 
• Proficiency in IPMI tool suite, with demonstrated knowledge of command sets, KVM, SOL, and remote connectivity methods. 
• Experience with Linux GCC build and debug tools.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and is customer service driven, analytical, a strong communicator, problem solver, and self-starter.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
