Acorns is Old Edwards Hospitality Group’s Retail Store for Home Furnishings and specialty items. The Acorns Sales Associate assists customers in finding products and information they may be interested in and be able to efficiently learn the POS and inventory systems to help the customer with ease.

This Role is Permanent Full Time, 4-5 Days a week, 9:30am-5:15pm. Weekends are a must.

Requirements

• Keep unnecessary items away from registers
• Work in Acorns
• Learn the Yellow Dog inventory system and Micros POS system
• Complete cleaning tasks including: dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and cleaning jewelry cases
• Study products that are carried in the store to actively help the customer
• Provide a warm welcome and departure for each store guest, inquiring as to whether they need assistance
• Assist with product displays and special orders.
• Keep up to date with restocking items on the floor from the storage closet
• Count the cash in the drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
• Pull the cash deposit each day. Accurately produce daily reports

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills required
• Must be well organized and customer service oriented
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
• Must be proficient in basic computer programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to learn Point of Sale System required
• Must have ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stretch and sit for periods of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
