Artius Solutions is Hiring a Shipping/Receiving Clerk Near Hidalgo, TX
- Receive and process incoming shipments
- Verify and inspect incoming materials against purchase orders or invoices
- Accurately record received items into the inventory system
- Organize and stock inventory in designated locations
- Pick and pack orders for shipment using order picker, reach truck, pallet jack, or other equipment
- Utilize RF scanner to ensure accurate picking and packing of items
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling and documentation
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliations
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with MRP systems.
- Ability to operate order picker, reach truck, pallet jack, RF scanner, and other warehouse equipment.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and packing.
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory control.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and vendors.
