We are looking for a full-time Financial Coordinator to join our team and provide administrative support to the clinical team by maximizing production and efficiency. The Financial Coordinator (similar to medical receptionist or office coordinator roles) is the owner of the patient's first and last impression of our office. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and organization skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to work independently. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is able to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Warmly welcome anyone who comes into the office.
  • Answer incoming calls professionally; schedule appointments, answer routine questions, gather as much information as needed to get resolution for the caller.
  • Perform opening and closing duties.
  • Conduct financial conversations with patients, including insurance verification, pre-authorization, and estimation to identify patient responsibility.
  • Monitor schedule throughout the day for added, canceled, and no-show appointments.
  • Prepare for future scheduled appointments.
  • Manage referrals to other offices, incoming referrals, and transferring x-rays.
  • Submit insurance claims and process patient statements.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Dental/Medical Office experience preferred.
  • Proficient in computer functions and able to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work will both individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to respond positively to constructive feedback and direction.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
