General Statement of Duties
This position is a part-time (6hrs/day or 30 hours/week) Custodial Worker at Ridge Elementary School. This position is open until filled.
Minimum $15.04 per hour. (Note: The salary for 2023/2024 will be prorated based on the official position start date)
Essential Duties
- Strips, seals, waxes, and buffs floors
- Scrubs and rinses floors in assigned area
- Damp mops a variety of rooms (i.e., auditorium, library, halls, stairs, cafeteria, kitchens, locker rooms and mechanical equipment rooms)
- Dusts a variety of rooms (i.e., auditorium, stage, library, halls, gym floors, and cafeteria)
- Sweeps shops, stairs and entrance areas, locker room, bleachers, sidewalks, halls
- Cleans and scrubs restrooms completely
- Dusts rooms, offices, furniture and cupboards and removes cobwebs
- Empties and washes garbage cans
- Attends work daily and be engaged and on task
- Performs overtime work on a scheduled, unscheduled, routine or emergency basis, as assigned
- Performs other duties as assigned
