Customer Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to oversee our daily operations. The ideal candidate is personable, well-organized, and possesses excellent communication skills. If you have a proven track record in customer service and possess the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply.

Nylene is a leader in the science of polymer performance. We specialize in developing custom engineering resins. With ISO-certified facilities, we consistently produce high-quality nylon polymers, copolymers, and compounds that cater to a wide range of markets worldwide. Our business is growing and we are seeking talented individuals to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:
  • Manage customer expectations and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Respond to customer queries in a timely and effective manner, via phone or email.
  • Troubleshoot problem situations as they arise to promote quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Keep organization informed about customer complaints.
  • Quality:
  • Ensure all customer orders are entered into the Nylene IT system correctly.
  • Ensure all invoices are promptly created with no errors.
  • Order Tracking:
  • Communicate with customers regarding the status of their orders.
  • Document Management:
  • Maintain a document management system for all customer sales orders.
  • Supervision:
  • Supervise subordinates (such as customer service reps).
  • Collaboration and Issue Resolution:
  • Collaborate with other managers (e.g., shipping, warehouse, scheduling, production, inventory) to optimize processes.
  • Resolve order-related issues promptly.
  • Reporting and Communication:
  • Publish daily orders report.

Qualifications:

  • Five years of prior experience as a customer service manager.
  • Strong phone presence, and remarkable customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Exemplary work ethic and takes pride in getting results.
  • Experience with a manufacturing business is preferred.
  • Ability to use software tools effectively for order tracking and management.
  • Well-organized and capable of managing paperwork efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with various teams.
  • Ability to supervise and lead a team.
  • Quick resolution of order-related issues.
