Requirements And Responsibilities
- A Master's degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering coursework is preferred; however, candidates with a qualified Bachelor's degree will also be considered.
- Certification as an Engineering Intern (E.I.) is mandatory.
- Technical competence, including completion of relevant coursework in designing structures using construction materials such as timber, steel, wood, masonry, and concrete.
- While proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are highly desirable.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and engage with various clients and projects simultaneously.
- Critical thinking skills to analyze problems, break down tasks, and prioritize assignments.
- Physical capability to visit construction sites, collaborate with architects and contractors, and spend 5-10% of the week outside the office.
