Capleo Global is Hiring a Material Handler Near Hayward, CA
Responsible for method of shipment, routes, and rates by utilizing our internal shipping procedures.
Essential Functions
- Generates sales shipping documents from daily backlog, prints and matches picklists with shipping documents and other necessary documentation to pick and ship orders on Macola system
- Packages internal material from work in process to finished goods as well as outgoing packages while assuming accuracy and quality.
- Performs all recording and filing functions pertaining to packaging and shipping of goods and operates DHL, FedEx, UPS terminals as well as working with Freight forwarder companies.
- Generates SFO to build in house kits and works with purchasing to fill back-order items.
- Assists in Inventory Control duties and Export Administration as required
- Must be able to lift to 55 lbs.
- Must be able to work with large assemblies requiring lifting assistance
- Must be able to operate a forklift for purposes of unloading delivery trucks and to load larger items for shipment.
- Knowledge of computer manifesting system and MS office.
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping Incoterms.
- Packing knowledge of goods to avoid damage.
- Must be detailed oriented and have high accuracy
- High School equivalence with secondary education
- 3-5 years of experience in an international, domestic shipping and inventory control with electronic manufacturing environment.
