Your New Role:

As our part-time Fleet Maintenance Specialist, you'll be the hero behind the scenes. From late afternoon to early evening, your mission will be to:

• Conduct routine checks and maintenance of all fleet vehicles, ensuring they are operational and safe for the road.
• Manage the upkeep of equipment and tools, preventing malfunctions and delays.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and inspecting brakes.
• Tackle minor repairs and coordinate more significant repairs with external services as needed.
• Keep our shop environment organized and efficient, creating a seamless workflow for all team members.

Job requirements

• Must have a solid understanding of mechanical systems and be able to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles and equipment.
• Capable of conducting preventative maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, replacing filters, inspecting brakes, and ensuring all equipment is operational and safe.
• Ability to identify problems and perform necessary repairs on vehicles and equipment, coordinating with external services for major repairs as needed.
• Should keep the shop environment organized and efficient, ensuring tools and equipment are in their designated places and ready for use.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 11 – 20 per week

Experience:

• Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
