DENTAL HYGIENIST

SITE OF SERVICE:

• Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point, NC

POSITION QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree: Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
• Education: Successful completion of a dental hygiene program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA).
• Certification: Certified in radiography as required by 42 CFR Part 75.
• Experience: shall be required to demonstrate clinical competency one year within the past two years
• License: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Dental Hygienist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• U.S. Citizenship: HCWs performing under this contract shall be U.S. citizens.
• English Language Requirement: The Contractor shall ensure that all HCWs providing services under this contract are able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate.
• HCW Physical Capability: HCWs shall be physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services.

HOURS:

• Services shall be provided between the hours of 0600 and 1800, Monday through Friday.
• Full-time health care workers (HCWs) shall normally provide services for 40 hours per week.
• Services are required for a period 8.5 or 9 hours (including a 30 minute or 1-hour uncompensated meal break, depending on shift length).
• Services are prohibited on Non-Scheduled Workdays. Typically, the Health Care Worker will work Monday - Thursday for a 9-hour period include a 30-minute uncompensated meal break and Friday for a 6-hour period without any uncompensated meal break.
• Employees should not be in their place of work earlier than 15 minutes prior to clocking-in at the start of the workday and no later than 15 minutes after clocking out at the end of the scheduled workday.
