The Role

We are looking for an experienced Bilingual QA Specialist to join our Company, a fast-growing nutraceutical and dietary supplements developer and manufacturer.

The ideal candidate is sharp, a quick learner, and they should have pharmaceutical industry experience in Dietary supplement and food safety experience. They must demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and effectively and thrive in highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: but not limited to:

• Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing facilities, equipment, and processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing data, and customer complaints, to identify trends and opportunities for process optimization.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality records, to ensure traceability and accountability.
• Train manufacturing personnel on quality assurance procedures, standards, and tools to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Assist with organization in customer audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions, providing documentation and evidence of compliance with quality requirements.
• Conducting internal audits.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on quality assurance principles, processes, and tools for manufacturing personnel at all levels.
• Coordinate training schedules, resources, and logistics to ensure timely and effective delivery of training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
• Monitor trainee progress and performance through assessments, quizzes, and practical demonstrations, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in quality assurance and manufacturing to ensure training materials are up-to-date and relevant.
• Track and report on training effectiveness, including attendance, participation, and outcomes, to evaluate the impact of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the manufacturing organization by promoting training opportunities, recognizing achievements, and encouraging feedback and collaboration.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Senior Management.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 1-2 yrs. Industrial Experience in the related field.
• Previous experience Nutraceutical Industry is a major plus.
• Previous experience and knowledge of Quality Assurance is required.

Qualifications

• Bilingual – Spanish is a must.

Physical Demands:

• Required to reach with arms and use hands and fingers to handle or feel.
• Required to stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, bend, sit, talk, hear, and climb a ladder.
• The employee may lift and/or move up to 50 lbs or more.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

• Work in an office environment but also at very close proximity to heavy machinery in the warehouse and powders from products.
• May be in contact with Allergens (Milk, Eggs, Fish, Crustacean Shellfish. Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Wheat, and Soybeans).
• Potential to move between office and warehouse areas to complete job functions.

Compliance with New York State Human Rights Pay Transparency Law, the annual base salary range for this position is $75k-$98k. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
