Requirements
- Read and interpret complex machining and fabrication and assembly drawings
- Develop and enter inspection plans for company products
- Mechanical inspection of parts and material
- Perform first article, first piece, in process & final inspection and generate required records
- Ensure that the documentation control process is maintained
- Participate in final release for shipments of all product
- Use of hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, gage pins, gage blocks, tool scopes, optical comparator
- Able to use Adobe, Excel, Word, GageTrak, GMS and software to access data, retrieve data
- 3-5 years of experience within quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing engineering or mechanical inspection
- Prior experience in aerospace or other high integrity industry
- Able to do own setups, perform own inspections, process control validations
- Able to keep organized reports and records
- Associate Degree or equivalent
- Certified Mechanical Inspector a plus
- Knowledge of Geometric Tolerance, CMM a plus
