We seek a Demand Planner who is passionate about supporting our Supply Chain through robust data analysis and strategic forecasting.

Who You Are:

What You’ll Do:

Forecasting:

  • Develop and maintain an effective forecasting strategy for all items.
  • Launch and own the new process for forecasting fresh items.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with Foodservice Business Managers to review account-specific trends.
  • Meet monthly with Fresh Business Unit Managers to review product trends.
  • Engage in weekly meetings with Retail Business Managers to review accounts and trade plans.
  • Perform comprehensive weekly analysis of the product portfolio.
  • Report on forecasting accuracy and make necessary adjustments to improve accuracy.
  • Maintain a 12-month rolling outlook for all product families, presenting and gaining consensus monthly as part of the S&OP process.
  • Participate in the S&OP Executive Overview meetings to address key forecasting issues.

Data Management:

  • Manage data sets (both customer-specific and SKU-specific) to facilitate the forecasting process.
  • Reconcile the forecasting hierarchy with the sales hierarchy.

Strategic Initiatives:

  • Challenge the status quo to support best practices in supply chain management.
  • Identify and implement areas for improvement within the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with IT to support automation, increase efficiencies, and optimize reporting and tracking.

Team CFG:

  • Be creative and add value wherever possible.
  • Take on additional tasks as time and learning allow.
  • Support cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Participate in CFG-sponsored personal growth programs.
