Southern Hickory Barbecue is Hiring a Food Service Worker Near Hartselle, AL

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established recipes and portion control guidelines
- Set up and break down food service stations
- Assist with food preparation, including learning conten of packages, and assembling sandwiches
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure food safety
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously

- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
