Garage Living of Wisconsin is Hiring an Installer/Technician (Garage Flooring, Cabinetry) Near Hartland, WI

The installer’s role includes but is not limited to:

Essential Functions:

  • Preparing for each project by reviewing orders, ensuring the materials are loaded properly onto the truck.
  • Ensuring all company tools and vehicles are operated properly and in a safe manner.
  • Onsite planning and execution of the project according to the documents prepared by the office and Designer.
  • Responsible for communication with the client as a matter of daily operations or to discuss onsite issues.
  • Managing issues onsite is a critical element in client satisfaction – the lead installer must manage these situations in a professional, courteous, and productive manner in order to ensure the clients’ complete satisfaction.
  • Responsible for training and managing the Assistant Installer(s) on his/her team – direction of work to be completed, ensuring tasks completed meet the quality standards of Garage Living, and overall supervision of the other installer onsite.
  • Assess field challenges promptly, arriving at solutions based on their experience or through communication with others within the Garage Living operation.

Performing installation – The installer is also responsible for work to be completed onsite as part of the scope of work on each project.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in construction, carpentry, concrete, or related fields.
  • Has worked in teams and independently to complete projects
  • Has a vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving record preferred
  • A true problem solver
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Energetic and passionate about each and every project
  • A winning attitude
  • Physically presentable – Shows up every day in a clean uniform (provided)
  • Clean background/criminal record
  • Ability to work on a team
  • Punctual
  • Sets a good example for other installers
  • Willingness to travel for short periods of time (2-5 days) is helpful

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
