Start your Voyage – Apply Now Duties: Lead the identification and definition of applications architectures, components and interfaces, design of data model, data/information flows and security design. Provide practical, expert knowledge of technical design alternatives and the implications of each approach, participating in phases of the software development cycle. Identify business value and cost for business and IT partners. Deliver software engineering designs and programs for new and existing products (enhancements and new product development) that meets business needs. Keep current on best practices in technology, and market place trends(including business competitors and technology vendors). Identify data needs, including access, security, quality and maintenance requirements. Recommend design alternatives, considering benefits and limitations to users based on in-depth understanding of business needs; may code very complex or high risk components. Provide technical direction and coaching to software developers and associate software developers in application development activities. Adhere to all organizational and IT policies and process for software development and project management. Leverage technology to enable the organization’s future-state business capabilities, which can enable or alter business processes or practices that drive the organization’s targeted business outcomes. Salary: $146,068 Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, and five (5) years of experience in a Software Development role or related position.
