POSITION : Adult Support Paraeducator - Summer School, Various - 2023-2024 SY (Internal Only)

REPORTS TO : School Principal AND Assistant Director of Intervention and Expanded Learning Opportunities

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS : Provide various forms of instructional assistance and support to the teachers. This program will be determined by student enrollment;

enrollment may change throughout the summer. School location will be determined based on student need.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

• Associates Degree.
• Demonstrated ability to work with students.
• Experience in classroom management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels.
• Must have own transportation.
• Paraeducator of record preferred.

SALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : Summer school rate as per Article IV of the HFP contract is $21.45 per hour. No holidays, vacation or sick leave during this scheduled program period.

Applicants who cannot work through the entire program due to scheduling conflicts should not apply.

Anticipated program dates are July 8, 2024 Aug 2, 2024. The program will run Monday Friday . Location and hours of employment are subject to change based on student enrollment.
