Hartford Aviation is a civil aircraft engine leasing company based in Hartford, CT. We have been in business since 1985.

We are looking to hire a contract specialist with 3-5 years' experience to join team at our location in downtown Hartford, CT.

All applicants must have a college degree, be motivated, a quick learner, and reliable. Must be proficient with MS office, any experience in with aircraft engine leasing is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate contract agreements on behalf of the company
  • Evaluate existing contracts and recommend amendments when necessary
  • Write, prepare, and edit contracts
  • Follow up on any breach of contract
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with outside parties and ensure contracts are fulfilled in compliance with the associated terms and conditions
  • Remain up-to-date on legal requirements and ensure contracts are in compliance

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Contracts Specialist or in a similar role
  • Training and / or certification as a Contracts Specialist is preferred
  • Deep understanding of contract documents, legal specifications, and procurement regulations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
