Our organization is currently hiring an On Site Property Manager to oversee our extended stay hotel. Our On Site Property Manager has the option to live on site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the arrivals and departures of guests and assisting the needs of incoming and current guests.

Overall Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests.
• Assign rooms and keys.
• Manage all arrivals and departures
• Prepare guest folio and collect payment for the visit.
• Maintain safe and clean work areas.
• Provide accurate, descriptive hotel information to guests and callers including hours of operation, guestroom features and locations, all services and amenities provided, and local area information.
• Handle mail, messages and guest mail
• Answer phones promptly in a polite and professional manner using the standard phraseology.
• Assist guests with the function of all guestroom features (TV, WiFi set up)
• Log and track all guest complaints.
• Promptly communicate all concerns to the Owner or authorities if appropriate
• Assist in solving billing discrepancies.
• Handle monetary transactions per prescribed procedure.
• Utilize property management systems and all other required technology to carry out daily responsibilities.
• Advise guests and callers of current rates and promotions.
• Show guest rooms to prospective guests as needed.
• Perform monthly guest room walk-throughs
• Order inventory supplies as needed
• Coordinate room check-in & check-out with housekeeping and Ownership
• All other duties as assigned

Addition Requirements:

• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Friendly and personable attitude is a must
• Must have schedule flexibility - our ideal candidate will be able to work morning shift some days and evening shift some days throughout any given week or weekend.
• Intermediate computer skills, basic math skills needed

Education, Knowledge and Skills:

• High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate
• Customer service background
• Hotel Front Desk experience preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekends as needed
