Summary

The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for communicating with internal and external customers regarding shipping and QC questions/practices.

Key Activities

• Directs and leads in inspecting outgoing products to ensure quality standards are met in the production area.
• Helps establish and define quality standards to ensure the quality of products.
• Monitors, documents, and corrects any quality issues.
• Ensures compliance according to Food Safety certification and QC standards.
• Ensures that QC standards are achieved.
• Plans the maintenance of all QC equipment.
• Trains teammates within this department to ensure that they are complying will all standards.
• Investigate inventory problems as needed
• Coordinate and execute emergency customer and department orders.
• Balances department workload
• Drive continuous improvement within the department.
• Plan, develop, or implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities.
• Working on multiple, simultaneous projects, which require you to be able to manage time flexibly and interact with a variety of people.
• Adheres to all company's policies and procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Fluency: Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred

Educations & Experience

• High School Diploma preferred
• 1 Yr. experience in quality control or similar role, 1 yr. experience of supervisory preferred & shipping.
