Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Regional Director of Operations

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Position Location: This position is located at Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg. Some flexibility regarding schedule (hybrid)

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).

Position Summary:

Functions as the senior non-physician executive for a significant segment of Sentara Medical Group's operations. Directs and oversees the efficient and effective operations for a significant number of ambulatory practices, hospital based practices, and/or diagnostic facilities within a geographic region or for one or more hospital based service lines.

Supervises Directors, Practice Managers and Team Coordinators assigned to one or more practices. Responsible for the development and expert execution of strategic plans that align with organizational goals and objectives related to growth, staffing, employee development, performance management, customer service/satisfaction, service delivery, quality, revenue enhancement, expense control, budgeting, regulatory compliance, safety and security.

RN license, if applicable. Diverse management experience/knowledge with a track record of progressively responsible positions in complex health-related organizations
