HB Consultants is Hiring a Maintenance Operations Manager Near Harrisburg, PA
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise maintenance, safety, and environmental activities for steel making production and plant-wide objectives.
- Guide mechanical and electrical technicians in achieving safety, delay, preventive, and predictive maintenance targets.
- Utilize technical expertise in maintaining industrial machinery.
- Manage administrative duties including crew scheduling, report generation, safety meetings, and record-keeping.
- Drive continuous improvement and standardization of maintenance programs and procedures.
- Perform any other assigned duties as needed.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering OR 3 years of maintenance management experience in a heavy industrial setting.
- Industrial/manufacturing mechanical and electrical maintenance background.
- Preferred: Two years of supervisory experience in a heavy industrial environment and experience in a union setting.
- Proficiency in AC/DC motor control, drive packages, PLCs, troubleshooting, and team leadership.
- Familiarity with hydraulics, water systems, blueprint reading, machine shop math, and computer-based maintenance systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Office, and PowerPoint.
- Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States.
