Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care under the direction of physicians and registered nurses, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients in a medical setting.
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any deviations to the healthcare team
- Assist with patient assessments and collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop care plans
- Perform IV insertions, phlebotomies, and other nursing procedures as needed
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and disease management
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols
Experience:
- Experience in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Familiarity with Botulinum toxin treatment, suturing, and other clinical procedures
- Knowledge of internal medicine, critical care, emergency room protocols
- Experience in areas such as CT scans, mammography, or other specialized services is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
