Duties:
- Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments for patients
- Using phone systems and computer software (such as Open Dental) to manage schedules
- Greeting and checking in patients at the front desk
- Assisting with administrative tasks, such as filing and data entry
- Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy
- Collaborating with medical staff to coordinate scheduling for procedures or tests
- Handling patient inquiries and providing excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar administrative role at dental office
- Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in using phone systems and computer software (such as Open Dental)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with patients in a professional manner
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient privacy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Note: Experience working in dentaloffice is preferred.
