BDM Inc. is Hiring a Construction Superintendent Near Hanford, CA

BDM Inc. is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Construction Superintendent with our firm. We are seeking candidates with a minimum 3-5 years of experience to oversee public works construction projects. The candidate should be well versed in all general construction techniques, scheduling, problem solving, and coordination of the various construction trades and how they come together to take a project from start-up to completion.

Job responsibilities Include:

Responsible for leading and managing subcontractors assuring Construction Schedules are met.

Oversee all phases of a public works construction project from start- up to completion.

Coordinate with Owner, Architect, Inspector, and relevant agencies.

Required knowledge and skills:

Minimum 3 years construction superintendent experience or minimum 3 years’ experience in multiple construction trades.

Proficient working with modern technology and construction management programs and display excellent communication skills.

Proven construction technical knowledge with understanding of various construction trades and how they come together to take a project from start-up to completion (i.e. demo, earthwork, concrete, masonry, metals, wood & plastics, moisture proofing, openings, finishes, specialties, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communication, security, exterior improvements, utilities, etc.).

Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment.

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Ability to read and analyze plans and specifications and supervise the construction of a project according to plans and specifications.

Clear understanding of the flow of construction documents

Possess excellent time management skills.

This position will primarily be working from temporary jobsite offices on projects in the Fresno, Kings, Tulare, and Madera County areas.

Full-time position

Salary Commensurate with experience.

Range: $75,000-$150,000 per year including comprehensive benefits package after probationary period and bonus incentives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
