Kowalski Companies, Inc. a 104-year-old family-owned company is seeking a full time Maintenance Technician to maintain optimum plant operations on a daily basis in our Home Style Foods, Inc. plant.

Knowledge of mechanical and power tools, inspection gauges, and electrical equipment. Familiar with and adheres to all MIOSHA standards including PPE, SDS, and Lockout/Tagout.

Work Hours
This is an early morning start time at 5:00am (start time may fluctuate based on business needs). This is a full-time position. The demands of the business dictate flexibility in regard to schedule; therefore, Saturday work can be part of the position.

Essential Job Functions:

· Install and rearrange equipment

· Dismantle, repair, and assemble complex equipment

· Perform work in fabricating, assembly, welding, burning, cutting, and pipe fitting

· Perform work in HVAC, Electrical and Pneumatics

· Works from drawings, schematics, prints, written or verbal instruction

· Able to start, stop, and operate all equipment

· Able to perform scheduled preventative maintenance

· Snaking drains and other minor plumbing

· Changing light bulbs and ballasts

· Office Maintenance

· Contract with outside vendors for building solutions

· Must be able to lift 50lbs occasionally
