Precision of New Hampton has an opening for a full-time Automation and Motion Controls Specialist. We are looking for individuals experienced in programming applications that require multi-axis motion control. This position works with industrial PCs, PLCs, servo controllers, drives, motors and sensors in an Industrial Automation environment. Machines and applications may involve robotics and/or machine vision. The person accepting this full-time position will be resourceful, independent, goal-driven, and most importantly, a team player.
Qualifications:
· Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
· Strong working knowledge of automation systems, robotics, and/or motion control systems
· Ability to communicate effectively in writing
· Experience with... electronic test equipment, such as V/O multimeter, oscilloscope, and ampmeters, experience using calibrators, micrometers, calipers, and geometric
tolerance for integrated circuit connector products.
- Understanding the safe and practical application of single and
multi-phase electrical power systems. General PLC abilities, Servo Systems,
Stepper Motor Systems and Proximity, Optical, Hall Effect Sensors.
