Kik Consumer Products is Hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician Near Hampton, GA
Your Role at KIKJoin our team as a Maintenance Electrician & Mechanical Technician, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment. Responsibilities include inspecting, testing and monitoring equipment, conducting repairs and replacements. You’ll be a key contributor to the success of our plant. What You’ll Be Doing
- Independently identify and repair equipment issues within assigned area with minimal supervision
- Promptly respond to equipment related issues with customer-oriented manner.
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems to include process instrumentation/control systems, 120–480-volt systems, variable speed drives, and PLC related issues (primarily Allen Bradley but some other systems may also be included)
- Perform preventative maintenance, and safety inspections.
- Diagnose mechanical problems, provide quick & innovative solutions for mechanical equipment breakdowns by applying proven skills in the principles of mechanics, fitting, plumbing, basic welding, metal fabrication, machining, troubleshooting, and analytical problem solving.
- Modify, repair, install, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot various types of machinery, equipment and facilities in the processing & packaging departments.
- Setup, takedown, and relocation of Process and Packaging equipment
- Frequently modify packaging & process equipment for new products
- Provide solutions to routine or unique equipment problems.
- Operate a mill, lathe, drill press, grinder, saws, and all other machine shop tools.
- 3-5 years mechanical/maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 5 years electrical, and/or controls/PLC in an industrial manufacturing environment (strong electrical skills are preferred)
- A minimum of a high school education or its equivalent.
- Must be flexible to work Shift Work (days, afternoons, nights)
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to perform in a manufacturing environment- ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Excellent Interpersonal, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Time Management and Organization; Ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities.
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. This position has a base salary range of $30.00 – $35.00/hour plus a quarterly operational bonus. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
