West Side Animal Clinic is Hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Near Hamilton, OH

West Side Animal Clinic is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals. Responsibilities include assisting with surgery, collecting and analyzing samples, lab work, and educating clients. This is a great role for experienced RVTs who are looking to be fully utilized and recent graduates who’d like to grow their skills.

Full or Part-time schedule available, with 8 hour shifts Monday-Friday.

Qualifications:
- Certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) required
- Experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital
- Knowledge of medical terminology, animal care, and laboratory procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities (BOE):

  • Anesthetic induction and monitoring
  • Surgical preparation and assistance
  • Dental prophy
  • Digital radiology
  • Patient handling and restraint
  • Blood draws
  • IV catheter placement
  • Suture wounds and incisions
  • Pharmacy duties
  • Lab work
  • Drug calculations
  • Outpatient procedures
  • Microscopic evaluation
  • Administer vaccines, injections, and medications
  • Client communication and education

Full-time Benefits:
