Mercer County Early Childhood Shared Services Alliance is Hiring an Early Childhood - Teacher (Grow-Ville Community Day School) Near Hamilton, NJ
Since 1993, we have been striving to offer excellence in education and childcare. Our private, Christian-based school serves children from infancy to Pre-K. Our current openings are for a full time Toddler Teacher and part time Infant Teacher.
Duties
- Teach age appropriate curriculum along with personal, social and emotional skills.
- Use a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and instructional methods to motivate and stimulate children's abilities.
- Assess student progress to ensure they are mastering skills.
- Maintain an open line of communication with parents.
- Comply with all safety regulations.
- Perform diapering & toilet training.
- Keep classroom organized and clean.
- Cooperate with administration and staff.
- Wear approved uniform daily.
- Excellent knowledge of child development, with a commitment to educate & care for young children.
- Ability to teach creatively.
- Willingness to work with a variety of age groups.
- Possesses strong communication skills.
- Patience.
