Mercer County Early Childhood Shared Services Alliance is Hiring an Early Childhood - Teacher (Grow-Ville Community Day School) Near Hamilton, NJ

Summary
Since 1993, we have been striving to offer excellence in education and childcare. Our private, Christian-based school serves children from infancy to Pre-K. Our current openings are for a full time Toddler Teacher and part time Infant Teacher.
Duties
  • Teach age appropriate curriculum along with personal, social and emotional skills.
  • Use a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and instructional methods to motivate and stimulate children's abilities.
  • Assess student progress to ensure they are mastering skills.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with parents.
  • Comply with all safety regulations.
  • Perform diapering & toilet training.
  • Keep classroom organized and clean.
  • Cooperate with administration and staff.
  • Wear approved uniform daily.
Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of child development, with a commitment to educate & care for young children.
  • Ability to teach creatively.
  • Willingness to work with a variety of age groups.
  • Possesses strong communication skills.
  • Patience.
