Grizzly Broadband, LLC is Hiring a Directional Drill Operator Near Hamilton, MT
Grizzly Broadband, located in Hamilton Montana, is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team to help us meet the demand for reliable internet in the Bitterroot Valley!
We are seeking a skilled Directional Drill Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in equipment and drilling operation, and construction site work.
Responsibilities:
- Performing directional boring around and/or on utilities for fiber installation
- Assisting with the installation of fiber optic cables, conduit, and other telecom equipment when not drilling
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- Completing projects efficiently and on schedule
- Conducting site clean-up and restoration activities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Directional drilling experience is required
- Previous experience in fiber optic installation is preferred
- Ability to operate construction equipment and tools safely
- Machinery operation experience is preferred: skid steer, excavator, etc.
- Ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Valid CDL CLASS A driver's license with a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle
- Travel to different job sites in the area as required
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing and background check is required
