Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment within our N.I.H. facility. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Work products related to the consolidation of AutoCAD and Revit drawings for each building on campus with the following: Architectural, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Controls, Site Utilities, Structural, Civil, Communication, Code Summaries, Etc.
Work Details:

• Consolidate AutoCAD and Revit drawings for each building on campus with the following: Architectural, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Controls, Site Utilities, Structural, Civil, Communication, Code Summaries, etc. 1

• Assist NIH personnel with creating Cad standards, file structures, standard plot files, and creating block and family libraries. 2

• Interface with building maintenance personnel to correct wide range of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and facility problems. 3

• Assists with determining location, square footage, and assigned use of space.

• Uses software program to color code each space by assigned use.

• Work with staff on tracking requests for new space or change-in space assignments using a software program.
