Deputy Court Clerk
Harris County, Georgia, with a population of 36,000 and located in west central Georgia along the Alabama border 60 minutes southwest of Atlanta and 30 minutes north of Columbus, is accepting applications for a full-time Deputy Clerk of Superior Court.
Job Title: Deputy Clerk
Job Location: Office Superior Court Clerk, Harris County Courthouse, Hamilton
Minimum Skills: Position requires applicant to have a High School Diploma or GED, ability to speak and write in the English language, customer service experience and demonstrate computer skills and use of Microsoft Office applications.
Job Description: Job applicant should be eager to learn, have a passion to serve and have a talent for multitasking, organization and time management. The job requires customer service, data entry and case management job duties which include but are not limited to document review, scanning, filing, court scheduling, written and oral communications, use of multiline telephone system and other duties as directed by Clerk of Court. Public records require sensitivity and confidentiality.
Work Conditions/Physical Demands: Work setting is in a small busy office with frequent interruptions. Occasional lifting of items up to 30 pounds is required.
Salary: $16.82 per hour plus benefits
