Provides senior level technical, analytical, and administrative support for DPW’s annual operating, capital, and revenue budget development. Ability to conduct rate analysis, software data mining and analysis, business analytical and metric work to ensure cost-effectiveness of operations, prepare formal presentation documents and conduct special projects. Work is performed under direction with considerable latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment. Position seeks technical guidance only on unusual or complex problems or issues.

Three (3) or more years’ progressively responsible experience in professional accounting and budget administration in a governmental or similar institutional environment or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training and/or experience. 
 
Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements) or obtain within one year of employment.
