Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Pet Groomer to join our team, The ideal candidate will have to have love for animals and possess excellent grooming skills to ensure the well-being and appearance of pets.
Duties:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets' coats
- Trim pets' nails, clean ears, and provide other grooming services as needed
- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Pet Groomer (Dogs & Cats Specifically)
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners in a professional manner
- Ability to handle animals with various temperaments and behaviors
- Experience in pet care, animal handling, or dog training is a plus
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger pets
