Radiology Technician Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Radiology Technician to join our team part to full-time. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of operating fluoroscopic equipment, positioning patients for procedures, and producing high-quality images.

Responsibilities:

- Perform fluoroscopic imaging during procedures 

- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, ensuring patient safety, and positioning patients correctly

- Operate and maintain fluoroscopic equipment in a safe and efficient manner

- Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self

- Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure all necessary images are obtained

- Keep detailed records of imaging procedures and patient information

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist

- Valid ARRT certification

- BLS certification

- Strong knowledge of fluoroscopic equipment and imaging techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to patient care

- Multiple locations: Clifton Park, Queensbury
