Central Hospital for Animals' goal for the past 45 years has been and continues to be to provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for each patient we see. Our main hospital is located in Herrin, IL with satellite locations in Carbondale, Marion & Harrisburg. All locations are equipped with a full pharmacy, laboratory and surgical suites. We have a team of 6 veterinarians and 35 highly qualified support staff to support a seasoned or new graduate DVM.

Speaking to more than just the outdoorsmen (and women), Southern Illinois is also home to the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds (DuQuoin, IL), where you can find year-round events like the DuQuoin State Fair, live music, rodeos, monster truck events and Street Machine Nationals.
While the communities surrounding our four locations in Carbondale, Herrin, Marion and Harrisburg boast a welcoming small town feel, St. Louis, MO and all it has to offer is within a two-hour drive and Nashville, TN is only a three-hour drive!
