Key Responsibilities:

• Execute design tasks including but not limited to reconductoring, NESC violation remediation, RUS standards, pole change outs, field surveys, pole height annotation, make ready design, pole staking, creating bill of materials, reviewing and understanding distribution assemblies and construction specifications, job packet creation and deliverables, post-construction inspections, federal, state, county, and municipal permitting, easement acquisition, and scheduling road flagging.
• Ensure designs comply with the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), Rural Utilities Service (RUS) standards, and Client mandated standards.
• Conduct field surveys to gather necessary data for design.
• Create comprehensive job packets and deliverables for construction projects.
• Perform post-construction inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Acquire necessary permits and easements for project execution.
• Schedule and coordinate road flagging activities as required.

Core Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of distribution power systems, assemblies, and their applications.
• Strong understanding of the NESC Code and its requirements.
• Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple jobs efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with relevant software.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
