YWCA Hanover is Hiring a Childcare Provider Near Hanover, PA

YWCA Hanover is seeking a passionate and dedicated staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to early childhood education, an outgoing and nurturing demeanor, high-levels of energy, and excellent communication skills. We have full-time and part-time positions available between the hours of 6:00am-6:00pm Monday-Friday working with children ages 1-12.

The candidate must be able to plan, implement, and organize developmentally appropriate activities for children. Observe and assess each student’s growth and development, maintain a positive, healthy, and safe learning environment, and promote positive and professional relationships with children and families. Communicate with parents and families in a positive manner and follow DHS regulations, and maintain STAR 4 standards.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED

  • CDA or degree in Early Childhood is preferred
  • 4 clearances (PA Criminal, Child Abuse, FBI, and NSOR)
  • 2 recommendation letters
  • Physical with TB test
  • 2500 hours of documented experience working with children

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
