POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Track maintenance and renewal work (working outdoors, in all weather conditions)
- Use of hand tools and small machines, operating track renewal equipment
- Standing, lifting, squatting for long periods and the ability to lift 50lbs or greater
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Mechanical aptitude
- Reliable transportation to and from work site, and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to perform physically work outdoors in all types of weather
- Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations, performing tasks in accordance with those rules
- 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma or GED
- CDL license or ability to obtain one (CPKC will help cover the associated costs)

Medical Requirements
