Come join our close-knit team at Dermatology Pet Care! We are a family owned dermatology specialty clinic for dogs and cats (and occasionally horses) based in Elk Grove. There is a huge need for dermatology in veterinary medicine, so it's no surprise how we've grown. We are looking to add new team members to help us with our mission to provide exceptional dermatologic care to our itchy animal friends.

Veterinary dermatology is a fascinating specialty that pulls together many facets of veterinary medicine including outpatient care, client education, pharmacology, anesthesia, surgery, microscopy and cytology, microbiology and more. It allows you to use your clinical skills and also practice critical thinking and problem solving.

We are looking to add a positive individual who works well with others in a team setting, is kind and professional, detail-oriented, has excellent communication and client service skills, and enjoys educating clients. We require at least 1 year of clinical veterinary experience with proficiency in animal restraint, venipuncture, phlebotomy, /- anesthesia. We will teach you what you don't know and show you why derm is the best! We are a family-run, non-corporate business with heart, and we look forward to investing in your future with us.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
