Requirements:

  • Have a min of 2 years experience in metal fabrication.
  • Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets.
  • Be able to select types of metal sheets regarding building design plans.
  • Be able to read a tape measure.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Have the drive and willingness to work.
  • Must show up to work on time.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using press brake, shear, roller, CNC equipment, and measuring tools.
  • Responsible for working with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel materials. Also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by his or her supervisor.
  • Produce metal products according to customer or employer specifications.
  • Cut materials to specific lengths and fabricate materials by drawings and design specifications.
  • Read and interpret diagrams, sketches, and blueprints to determine operations, required materials, and timeframes for projects.
  • Set up, operate, and metal fabricating equipment.
  • Understand and implement personal and company safety measures by wearing Safety glasses, uniforms, steel-toe boots, and other protective items.
  • Utilize communication skills to work with team members and converse with customers and clients.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
  • Follow all company rules and policies.
  • Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
  • Ability to lift heavy items up to 60 pounds consistently required.
  • Ability to identify and measure material.
  • Ability to produce quality products consistently.
  • Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form.
  • Willingness to learn and display a strong, dependable work ethic.
