Job Description
Newr is seeking a senior electrical engineer who can lead in a dynamic environment. You'll be the expert in your field for our projects that require these skills and provide direction to electrical technicians, interns, entry level engineers, and contract engineers.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
5 years’ experience in electrical engineering and PCB design and debug.
Experience in Altium Designer is a must.
3 years’ experience in embedded hardware design
Experience in wireless power transfer.
Experience in battery hardware specifically charging & BMS a plus
Experience with BLE & Wifi operating devices is a plus
Experience with certification procedures for UL and FCC is a plus
Microcontroller Programming experience is a plus
Attitude with something to prove.
Willingness to think outside the box.
Communication!
Must sign an NDA prior to starting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design embedded systems for new products
Work with firmware and electrical engineering team to create system operation documentation
Create and review PCB schematics and circuits to meet the products requirements.
Test and debug PCB assemblies using electronics equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc)
Understand concepts and use sketches and discussion to create schematics for PCB and component purchase.
Objective setting for development and test planning.
