Title: Financial Planning Analyst

Job Description

As an integral part of Bleakley Financial Group, the Financial Analyst works closely with the Wealth Advisor in providing support with all client meetings. The Analyst is involved in managing the financial planning, attending client meetings, taking notes, tracking and monitoring cases.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Attend client meetings to conduct market reviews and client portfolio analysis
• Trading assets (mutual funds, fixed income, rebalance portfolios)
• Prepares, reviews, edits and updates proposals prior to client presentations. May participate in presenting specified components of the financial plan.
• Participates in the portfolio review/monitoring process and works to manage cash flow, tax issues, etc. associated with client portfolios.
• Providing analysis of retirement & education savings.
• Any other duties as requested by the wealth advisor of the firm.

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years’ experience trading and advising on portfolio assets
• Experience with trust & estate strategies
• Experience conducting market reviews and presenting information to clients
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Strong mindfulness
• Advanced skills in Excel with knowledge in one (or more) of the following programs: Morningstar, Bloomberg, ycharts, eMoney, and/or Moneyguide
• Bachelor’s Degree in math, finance, accounting, or business preferred
• Work experience in wealth management, financial planning, investments related field
